Terms of Service

1. The service

Expert SEO Services is a trading name of JOVIS MEDIA LTD (company number 17269772). JOVIS MEDIA LTD ("we", "us") offers the SEO Foundation Package as its primary fixed-scope engagement — a fixed-price search engine optimisation build defined by the 48-point deliverable checklist published on our pricing page and appended to your agreement, plus an included bonus of up to 15 new service pages built if your keyword map requires them. These terms govern that Foundation Package engagement. Where your agreement covers additional or extended scope, that scope and its price are set out separately in writing. If the two differ, the signed agreement prevails.

Some checklist items depend on your hosting, CMS and plugins. Where those systems restrict what we can change, we deliver every optimisation within our access and record limitations in checkpoint 48.

2. Price and payment

• The standard Foundation Package fee is £2,499, payable in full at engagement start, or in three structured instalments of £900 aligned to the three delivery months (£2,700 total).
• Within the scope you agree at sign-up, there are no hidden add-ons: no renewal, no subscription, no open-ended hourly billing, and no surprise invoices mid-engagement.
• If your site needs work outside the standard checklist — for example a large multi-location platform — we quote that separately in writing before you commit. You are never charged for extra scope without agreeing the price first.
• Any SEO or marketing work after the Foundation Package finishes is optional and priced as its own engagement if you choose to proceed.

3. The 90-day delivery guarantee

If we do not clear every item on your 48-point optimisation checklist within 90 days of engagement start, you are entitled to a full refund of all sums paid — no questions asked.

Two honest clarifications:

• The guarantee covers delivery of the specified work within the specified time — matters entirely within our control. Checklist items are marked complete when the scoped work is delivered; where hosting, CMS or plugin restrictions prevent full implementation, that is documented in checkpoint 48 rather than left unstated.
• The guarantee does not, and lawfully cannot, promise specific rankings, traffic figures, or revenue outcomes. Nobody controls Google’s algorithm, and UK advertising standards prohibit claims to the contrary. Any provider who guarantees you a ranking position is telling you something untrue.

The 90-day clock pauses if we are waiting on access or approvals from you for more than 5 working days, and resumes when access is provided.

4. Your ownership of all assets

From day one of the engagement:

• All accounts created or configured for you (Google Business Profile, Search Console, analytics, directory listings) are registered to your email addresses and owned by you;
• All documents produced (keyword matrices, audits, the 12-Month Organic Roadmap, the completed checklist) are your property on delivery;
• All code, markup and content changes deployed to your website belong to you unconditionally;
• Nothing is held in our name, rented back to you, or disabled if the relationship ends.

5. What we need from you

To honour the 90-day schedule we need: access to your website's hosting or CMS, timely approval of changes (5 working days), and accurate business information (trading name, phone, service areas). Delays on these pause the guarantee clock as described in section 3.

6. Standards of work

All work is performed in line with Google's published Search Essentials (formerly Webmaster Guidelines). We do not purchase links, create doorway pages, deploy misleading schema, or use any technique that would place your website at risk of manual action. If you instruct us to perform such work, we will decline.

7. Liability

Our total liability arising from an engagement is capped at the fees you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for changes in search engine behaviour outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.

8. Cancellation

• You may cancel within 14 days of signing, before work begins, for a full refund.
• Once work has begun, you may cancel at any time; fees for delivery months already completed are retained, and any month not yet started is refunded.
• All assets and documents produced up to cancellation are handed over to you regardless.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is found unenforceable, the remainder stands. These terms, together with your engagement agreement and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
